  When we were in Africa for a few months, we were told to eat lots of garlic. It seemed to work for me. Apparently, it changes the taste of the blood.

  Deet is supposed to be good. It got recommended to us while we were in Fiji being munched on by the little gits I couldn't get hold of any out there but a lot of other travellers swore by it.

  Agreed. I eat it every day on my toast and I get eaten alive
