Hi

I'm thinking about getting a pair of birkenstocks but want silver ones, anyone know of any cheap websites? I've tried ebay and no silver in my size :(
Thanks

I know it's not a website but they were selling them in TJHughes in Glasgow if you're anywhere close to there...

I got mine in John Lewis, I bought a pair of brown ones, the ones that are more styled like a sandal than a flip-flop as I wanted enough support to be able to walk a fair bit in them (as I seem to end up doing a fair few miles just getting around), they are so comfortable and I'm so pleased with them. I got them last time it heated up (May maybe?) as I wanted something comfortable that I could wear with a skirt and still walk well in.

I know that wasn't what you were asking at all but I just wanted to say how great my new Birkenstocks are!

This any good? They're £30 but free delivery...I haven't looked at the sizes available or anything, it was just one of the first sites that Google presented me with.

Hehe well they're blatant rip offs and I doubt they're as comfy so don't feel too bad :)

I don't understand how they stay on your feet?

They just stay on - not that easily but bearable!

I got some from republic website in sale - not proper like but they pink with like a floral print. Sound horrible are really nice though really - honest! They were a fiver.

To the original poster - have you not got any cheapo shoe shops around you that sell them "kind" of shoes. We have about a million here!

    Mine are like sandals.

I think they are these ones:

I just wanted something really comfortable that I could wear in the summer and walk lots in but that went okay with a skirt. I know they aren't the most sexy shoes ever, I think I've become middle-aged by going for comfort over style.

ah mine are similiar to this

    http://www.republic.co.uk/Sunshop/Soul-Cal-Sequin-Mule/invt/68965

but pink with a print on. They don't seem to have them on the website any more.

And yes RandomGirl - choosing comfort over style is OLD AGED
