My Periods are getting shorter :S

is this a normal thing??
before my period would last 6 days now it only lasts 3-4 days - since sept 2007.
im happy about it as it means the feeling crappy days don't last as long but is it ok/normal?

    Mine are quite short 3-4 days at most. Usually 3 but sometimes only bleed for 2, then a few days of dark discharge. My first period lasted 10 days!

    Have you recently gone on the pill, or even changed pill cos that can cause it to happen

    No i haven't recently gone on the pill - been on it for a few years now.
    i thought oh my gosh am i going to be menopausal :S... as now before and during my period i am sooo hot i have to strip down to my bra n pants to feel ok :S - when im at home and 10 day periods.. sounds like hell.. :S
