Which Firewall software do you use?

I've tried loads but I still find myself returning to Sygate even though it's been discontinued - I find other either don't provide with me enough information or have so many pop-ups they simply become an annoyance.

Any other alternatives similar to sygate?

    Windows onecare :)

    It dont bug you and gives you a monthly report!

    Runs silently in the background and dont hog resources either. :)

    The one that comes with Eset smartsecurity. Found it to be neat, easy to add trusted zones, doesn't nag you in automatic mode and so on.

    Same as Indrid - the router acting as a hardware firewall, thus less CPU time being occupied on the computer.

    Before router NAT, I was using Sygate too.

    Nothing, but hackers tend to go for those first, as they're the most widely available, just like they tend to go for internet explorer above Firefox/Opera....they know a lot people stick with the standard kit.

    I use AvG and Spybot.

    Hey :)

    I've been in Wales for like a year now. It's been a long and bizarre year of anti-depressant clinic trials. Not been about much on the net in general, as I've been tired pretty much all of the time (side effect of the tablets).

    Am now pretty much dying to move back to Manchester again! Lol.
