On the front of my stereo system there is a music port, which im gathering i can plug my ipod into.
Does anyone know what cable i need to buy in order to connect the 2? I've found AV cable's that will connect ipods to the back of tv's and stereos but they seem pointless when i have a music port especially designed for the purpose.

If its an output then its probably just used for headphones... if its an input then yes a 3.5mm jack cable will work perfectly with your iPod.
