    Well, it'd be worth going to your dressmaker for a quote first, rather than turning up and being disappointed.

    I'm sure it's possible, but it may be pricey depending on how much they charge for the labour.

    it shouldn't matter: a good tailor/ess should be able to work something out to suit you. take it to an actual alterations store as opposed to a dry cleaners so you can speak to the person themself.

    Debenhams have an alteration service.

    My Bridesmaid dress is a right mare, I wear a 12 but gotta buy a 16 and have it taken in everywhere else but the bust!!

    You usually pay about £10 per seam.
