Why students fail in their exams

Indrid ColdIndrid Cold Posts: 16,688 Skive's The Limit
As is deduced from the well-founded views expressed below, it is not the students' fault for their falures, but the number of days in a year! We hope that this year we escaped the black hole that hunts the space-time and passed some exams.
  • In the beginning there was the year
  • A year has 365 days
  • Subtract the 52 Sundays, there are 313 days left.
  • The 60 days of summer are too hot to study... so we have only 253 days left.
  • We sleep about 8 hours a day, so in a year that is 122 days of sleep. So we have 131 days left.
  • If we do nothing for just 1 hour a day, we lose more 15 days and so we have only 116 left.
  • We eat for 2 hours a day, so 30 days.
  • We spend 2 hours a day travelling, so 30 more.
  • So now we have 56 free days.
  • But if we subtract the 50 in total days of holidays, we only have 6 days left...
  • Say we get sick half of them, there are 3 days left.
  • And if we go out for 2 days, there is ONE left!!!
  • Well... this is your birthday!

So...
We wish you success in your exams!

Yes, of course it's flawed as you're counting several days twice, eg when you get down to 253 if you want to subtract 8 hours a day of sleeping you should only do so from the 253 days, thus removing about 84 days not 122.

And the 60 days of summer overlap with most of your 50 days of holiday.
