Basically I need to have port 50505 open to play a game and I seem to have having some difficulty doing it, and basically none of the online guides have helped.
Router is Netgear WGR614v7 and the online guides tell me to do this:
The guides say that Server IP address is my IP address, I've tried changing it to the hosts IP address but it just throws an error.
Can anyone see where I'm going wrong and help me out?

Go to start->run and type "cmd", which opens the command prompt. Then type ipconfig /all. Then check if "IP adress" is the same as the one in the "Server IP Address" on the router config page you showed above.
Damn annoying!
Thats not the same thing as 'port triggering' is it?
If so, you need to setup the service (to "Inbound") otherwise the Router won't use it.
