    Ive not seen it but ive heard people talk about it! Its meant to be scary at some bits but other parts it can be quite boring! I want to see it,but ill have to wait till i can rent it!

    if u havent seen it and dont want to know what happens, dont read this!

    i thought the brain bit was horrible, i didnt look when he took the top of the head off!! but some bits of it were funny,like when he got fed his brain!

    Hannibal is one of the most over-rated films in a long time. Utter rubbish if you want my opinion.

    Just a couple of points:-
    1. When Clarice has spent so long trying to catch him would she help him escape?

    2. Why do so many people do the Penelope Pitstop thing and give the bugger so many escape chances?

    3. How can a man of Lecter's infamy hop on and off planes at will?

    4. How did he slip back into America so easily?

    5. How did he know where Brain Boy's summer house was? (Or Clarice's house for that matter?)

    6. Why did no-one in a busy market notice a man being stabbed and then let Patze just walk away from the corpse without anyone thinking he'd stabbed him?

    7. How many hours of perfumery videotape would she have to trawl through to find him?

    8. The shootout at the start was clearly not Clarice's fault. The local plod screwed up and the drug dealers fired first so why did none of her FBI team back her up?

    9. With the house surrounded and a couple of helicopters (presumably with infrared cameras), how come they couldn't find the escaping Lecter despite the fact he'd just chopped his own hand off? (And then was able to get on another flight!!!)

    These little plot faults aside (and i'm sure there are many more) the film couldn't decide whether it was a thriller, a horror, a comedy or a shocker. It ended as a mish-mash of all four, but not quite managing to achieve any of them. Not that horrific, not that scary, not that funny and not that shocking (although the brain bit was good).

    I was planning to go see it this wkend but after speaking to a mate who went last wkend it "aint worth a fiver to get in". Apparently its a lot tamer than SOTL
