Anyone wash anything besides clothes in the washing machine?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I just washed my entire pillow and then a seat cushion in the Washing Machine and they both grew ..

The pillow came out really clean but it was like 4 times thicker then before and the cushion about double the thickness..

It's quite cool because both were going really flat before.. :)

I've heard you can wash trainers in the washing machine as well if you put them in pillow cases first. Don't think I've tried it though .. anyone done it?

 Quite often, the pussy needs a damn good wash.

Hmm wait, shouldn't this be in the Health forum?!

Trainers are fine although I put each one in a sock rather than a pillowcase.

My watch. Wasn't intentional... but it still works; even though it's been through about 3 times now.

Bedsheets. If you have white bedsheets, put a little bleach in with it. They come out extra white and lovely!

    Just the kids.

    Boil wash usually covers it.

:heart: Not sad at all! My simba goes in the wash pretty often. Though now he needs to be put on delicate!

And my shoes don't go in the wash either, like Franki. My shoes are sexy suede and would get ruined by water.

So just clothes and blankets and stuff.

We put the odd horsey thing in, but then it takes ages to clean any hair out out (and uses a lot of water as you need to run it on a fast/hot cycle at least once) so I tend to pay to get the big things done at the launderettes now instead. Cat beds I guess, although again it's a pain to clean afterwards.

My sister put her phone through the wash once. It never worked again.
