Anyone get phased by so called bad luck numbers, 13, 666 or maybe 4 (in China that's unlucky)
I remember the first time I went on holiday to Canada I stayed in an apartment and there was no floor 13. So it must be big enough a deal to some to not have a 13th floor, went straight from 12 to 14.

666 isn't unlucky to me, as the "devils" real number is 616
Not only is 4 an unlucky number to chinese people, it's worse if it's proceeded by a 7!
the word for 4 sounds similar to the word for death, and the word for 7 sounds a bit simialr to another word meaning defintely/bound to/etc.
so 74 = definately going to die/bound to die!
And you're a legalese person. Coincidence?
As for numbers, I don't like numbers that you can't divide easily. Like 7.
4 people buy a pizza. £6.99
"Ok so that's err... £1.. £1.50 each? No wait, erm..."
I don't have any good/bad numbers. They are all ok.
All included in the UK!
That's interesting - didn't know that - but then surprised a Hospital has that many suites to begin with for new women to give Birth in.
Numbers I don't like? Hm, well, I don't like odd numbers generally, with the exception of anything ending in 5. No specific numbers I have something against.
Hey, I work for a charity and help vulnerable people with benefit and debt problems! I'm a good guy!
Well, ok, that was a bit of a sweeping statement, i admit
Birmingham Women's hospital didn't have a room 13, it missed 13 and stopped at 14. Although funnily enough, i never saw a 'nice' delivery in room 14... :nervous:
LOL! If it was me I'd ask for it to be changed!!
Once I went shopping and it came to ₤6.66 and my friend said really loudly "its the devils shopping!" we were dressed alternative because we were going to reading festival that day. The checkout woman looked really scared!
As for the Devil, I never knew until recently that his number is 6. I always thought it was 5 because of the pentagram. ??
As for my own numbers, I've not liked the number 8. It's something that started in 1996. Lots of bad things in life have happened on an 8th. It's also the track number off Baby D's "Deliverance" album which totally freaks me out. I made a thread about it some time ago.
my favourite number is 7..nooo idea why
