Ms?

i'm a little worried...

a while ago i was talking to a friend and saying how i feel sometimes and what happens...

basically:

I get depressed a lot and have had psycotherapy
I have muscle spasms
I have tremors
sometimes i wake up and some muscles will be very stiff or just won't work...

i've had the first 3 for years but the last one has only just started over the last few months...

anyway...the friend turned around and said that her mum feels like this, and has MS...

should i be worried?

They are associated with MS, but are also associated with an awful lot of other things including stress and depression, so I wouldn't get yourself too wound up.

That said, if it does worry you have a chat with your GP about it (although for some strange reason I seem to think you don't like your GP).

if i do get to see my GP she is quite sympathetic, but not often very forth coming with advice unless it's a simple thing (such as my scatica a while back), it's just the other GPs in the surgery that i dislike
