Can you recommend any programs for ghosting a partition of my hard drive? I do have a cd of Norton Ghost, but I don't trust Norton products much... Should I use that anyway, or are there other options? Preferably free ones.

    I'd stick with norton ghost - it's very good.

    Norton Ghost is rubbish in my experience of it - does a good job of copying a hard drive and a rubbish one of restoring one

    The best program I've used is called True Image

    Their partition software is also so much better then partition magic

    The company that owns Norton is famous for buying excellent software products only so they can dump them and get the better products off the market

    I have the agree with DG here, i've used Acronis true image but deploying over a network take's time and it does not like Windows 2000!

    But yes - It's a good one.
