Listening to the radio the other day and a very good point was raised.

You can order pizzas, indians, chinese, thai, any other bloody foods ....

BUT WHERE CAN YOU ORDER A TAKEAWAY ROAST DINNER?!?!?!

sure you can order all the gourmet stuff - for an extortionate price ... or buy at a pub for a small 3.99 inclusive of a pint - although these will be microwave meals.

anyways, don't know the point of this post - just complaining there are no places to get a nice lamb roast dinner takeaway. I think I will start a new business venture.

ROAD! will be the name - ROASTS ON ANY DAY - Who's with me? can I hear a "hell yeahhhhh"?

    The pub in which I work do delivered food like roasts, surf and turf, steak, Cajun chicken and such.

    They make a fooking fortune out of it. :thumb:

    A roast dinner is one meal I always think is best made home made, I've never eaten a roast in a restaurant that has been any better than mine/my Mums.

    I had a friend from essex who said they had a regular pub food delivery service, like roasts and the like, so it has and can be done. I would like someplace to deliver from all choices, so could get a bit of indian and chinese in the same delivery...

    I think there are similar services that operate in the USA on Thanks giving to roast a Turkey for you with all the trimmings

    Chip shop down the road does take away roast dinners and they are yummy, they don't deliver though.

    I've seen vans around Cardiff with the logo "Ring-A-Roast" on the sides of them...either that is a "dial a roast dinner" delivery service or something very dodgy indeed :chin:

    A sandwich shop (it does do other stuff too) near here does take away roast dinners but it's not good for not living around here :lol:
