Connecting ericsson to laptop

Im having real trouble getting my new W880i to work properly with my laptop an vista.I can install the program and all the drivers etc but when I try to transfer music over with the disc2phone software it always says theres no usb connection even though its connected and worked fine when I synchronised it!!!!:banghead:
Anyone had problems like this or managed to solve it?
All help appreciated.:D

    Okay did you install the software off the disc or did you download it?

    If you got it off the disc please go to This Website And download the Vista versions

    Lemme know how it goes

    Leaf - with some phones you have to turn the phone on and then activate/switch on the UBS thing, (on the O2 Ice you have to anyway) have you done anything like that?

    Cheers for the replies.Yeah I did get the downloads off the website.......doesnt seem to have made much difference though......:chin:
    Iv connected the phone through the ericsson suite and synchronised it,put it on file transfer and when I opened the disc2phone prgram it keeps saying "please connect your phone with the usb or insert memory card" and wont let me transfer any songs.:confused:
    Im really disappointed as this phones pretty wicked.

    Dont think my laptop has bluetooth.I`ll try it one more time with the usb.

    Try using a different USB port it might work but i'm not sure why its not

    If you have a Card reader you could pop the tiny MMC inside

    Nope,still wont work.I looked in the phone file com ports and it said port 3 disabled?!:confused: Is that the laptop or something?

    I'm not sure about that but update using these drivers below i.e point the update towards the folder
