Does any1 know the exact details of the gradual eradication of legal cannibis use in amsterdam due to the views of the new government???

    ive been told by lots of my dutch friends that this new ruling party in the netherlands will not dare stop coffeeshops and make cannabis "untolerated" due to the uprising of the people there..

    imagine if they do make it proper illegal not just tolerated, there will be a social uproar and a massive loss in tourism..

    coffeeshops were running illegally before in the netherlands and i could definatly see them running illegal again if they had too.

    It's all cool bud - just the press trying to make a story.

    That's the official line from Dutch coffeeshop owners, and in particular Nol van Schaik (backer of the Dutch Experience cannabis cafes in Stockport & Bournemouth - BOTH STILL OPEN)

    Think they know more than drunken reporters!
