Looks like you had a really good time. Did you get to stay with the Masai or was it just a visit?.... Hope you're not too jet lagged!

It's two hours ahead, so I'm still a bit :| but not too bad. We just visited the Masai village for a couple of hours, but it was amaaaaaaazing. They did dances for us and stuff, and we bought bracelets (although I discovered that mosquito spray made mine stain my wrist...). It was so cool.

squeal - I stayed with my dad. He lives in Nairobi. Naomi is my 5 year old sister, Wambui and Makena (the other two girls) are her friends. I know I got photo happy, but it was because it was soooooooo good.

Manda - you can steal as many lion photos as you like honey :). I might even make you an icon out of one if you tell me which is your favourite ;p.

Ha I just went back to look and it said after the title i just mentioned - Kenya. It has been a long tiring day in all fairness.

Well yeah if you are talking about cows, sheep, foxes, badgers, owls etc but i don't think you'd find many elephants, lions and giraffes roaming around.

Hmm, I wonder if that's what zoos are like in Africa. Thousands of people flocking to stare at the amazing sheep and foxes of deepest Europe!

Why have zoos when you have baboons sitting on the side of the road :p?

I went to a Seal Sanctuary in Mablethorpe and they had pheasants in cages :grump: not the most interesting of things especially when i can look out the window and see about 10 eating out the bird feeder in the garden, i had to pay £5 there!

There were more things than that, even. Most of those photos were just from 3 days :o. But the Serena hotel in Mombasa (the one where the monkeys are climbing all over and the champagne and stuff) was amazing. We went snorkelling and saw a stingray :hyper:.

Btw, were you not scared being that close to a lion when it wasn't in a cage? Animals scare me!

We were in a car :p. Although at one point we were about 6 feet away from the two younger male ones (the one that was playing with the tree and his friend). Largely due to the fact that some guy in another car dropped what we thought was a camera and was actually camcorder discs from their car, and the driver drove between the discs and the lions and made our driver get out and pick the discs up. So we got really close to the lions.

Besides, they were all half asleep ;p.

    It was amazing though :hyper:.
