Poppers! PLEASE HELP ME.

Hi,yesterday I got pressured into snorting poppers in a club,but I have no idea what they are,and are there any *serious* dangers? I have a really bad cough today,do u reckon this could be from the poppers? Any info on it would be great,thanks.

    1 hit wud have done nuthing damaging to ur body whatsoever

    Did u take pills?

    If so then this cud be a indirect way of u getting a cough. When on pills ur immune system goes walk abouts so its hard for ur body to defend itself, all u need to do is share a drink with sum1 who has a really bad cough and u cud get it urself <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    I have no idea what a popper is even in drug wise it must just be over sea's cause over here I have never heard of it before is it new?

    Does it give you the same buzz as a pill? please tell me.

    Poppers are great when you're coming down and need a quick boost. Me being a hopeless junkie <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> , I started having sniffs constantly when out clubbing. As a result I would feel 100 times worse than usual the day after, and my nostrils would look green <IMG SRC="eek.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> . I had to stop buying them coz I found them highly addictive.

    Poppers are okay when done occasionally, but long term use will burst your brain cells- hence its name <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    They are not addictive and they do not bust ur brains cells! ok mebe a few but not loads! poppers are legal and u can find them in any good sex shop <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    they are HORRIBLE, they smell of old trainers and they give you a stinkin headache. theyre dangerous if youve got low blood pressure as they make it drop even lower. theyre sold in sex shops and are very popular amongst gay men, as they relax the sphincter muscles <IMG SRC="eek.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    poppers are good for taking you to another level for about 60 seconds but they are rank
    they are actually more dangerous because they increase the heart rate dramatically. They also have been proven to cause a fair amount of brain damage. They are good in the short run for laugh but they get tiresom and cause you more damage than pills, its fucking vinyal cleaner

    don't you all mean "room deoderizers", not poppers! sure that's how they sell them,

    and have you noticed how it says on the sides of the bottle do not inhale....

    indeed. possesion is legal.... but it seems that most clubs, the ones i've been too, aren't really that big on them at all. and you always know when someone has them don't you!

    I seem to be the only teeny one around here who loves popperz! Mind you, I only have a sniff very rarely, but I really enjoy the quick rush of blood to the brain, and the thumping in the head you feel is almost in sync with the bassy beats of house music.. <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    I used to do them a lot, quite fun... I liked to take a sniff on the dancefloor and then melt whilst dancing to the music. I stopped doing them because I heard they make you come down quicker.

    MOre recently I've seen someone black out because he'd had a hit on the poppers, and someone else freeze up completely for a few seconds. Both scared the shit out of me, because I was kinda fucked myself, didn't realise what was happening and thought it was something more serious. They are something to be careful with, but mainly if you are on pills.
