Hello all!

I have this friend who smokes some sort of drug, dunno what it is, erm he rolls this weedy stuff in this fag... anyway he smokes a lot of it and quite often till he's completly whacked. I mean, he walks around in a daze sort of thing. I have never took drugs in my life (hence the lack of knowledge) and I don't plan to but I'm curious: do you remember what you do or what happens when your high or is it all a blur? ... cos I said some things to this guy that were quite important while he was in the clouds and I wonder if he remembers anything.

love & stuff

Memory shouldn't really be a problem, he should recall it all. Saying that, I had to pause for thought to remember what I was replying to.... but I think I can blame other stuff for that.

Anyway, if you smoke cannibus daily (sometimes a few times a day) does it harm you? Can too much kill?

The only harm I can think of is a aquiring a general apathy to doing... well, anything really.
    And it can't kill.

it is less dangerous than either alcohol
or nicotine, however alot over along period of time will have the odd negative effect, nothing to worry about ! it is one of only very few drugs that is impossible to be killed from an overdose too don't worry about your mate, he'll be just fine

I've found that it is easy to forget things that happened the night before when smoking weed, but it depends on the importance you place on what happened.

While I was at Uni and my friends were back home they sent me a few audio tapes of sessions they had recorded. I took it back home after a while and we all listened to it together, and there were quite a few "I don't remember saying that"'s, but generally it was minor stuff. Anything of Earth-shattering importance will be remembered, although the perception of whatever you talked about will probably be very different for you and him.

Cannabis isn't inherently dangerous, much like alcohol. You can smoke too much and get into a state, like being rat-arsed, but it's toxicity is low so it's not actually poisonous. It's most harmful effects are pyschological not physical, so it would depend wether your friend has an addictive personality (any other vices?? gambling etc??)and wether he comes back to reality often or prefers to stay on Cloud 9.

Smoking lots every day seems to do me very little good in the memory department, mostly short-term memory is the problem though, like "where did i put that joint?" or "Did I open the window? what window?... wait, where's the joint again?". Nothing too important anyway, actually I'll tell you after my exam results come through
