I'm having a contraceptive implant done tomorrow, and while I'm fine about getting it and stuff, today I've slowly been getting more nervous...

How big is the needle? Doesn't it really hurt? They're pretty big things considering... I'm normally fine with needles for jabs and the like, but to have something put in. :shocking:

Someone tell me it'll be OK!

    My friend got it done and she's terrified of EVERYTHING, honestly she's a real girlie girl and a real girlie wimp :p If she can do it, anyone can do it.

    I felt pretty sick afterwards, and my arm still hurts now but not as badly.

    I thought about having it, but the thought of having it done put me right off! Use the pill instead!
