Easy- all you need is chocolate, marsmallows and rice krispies. Melt the chocolate and the marshmallows, add the rice krispies and you're done. So what if it doesn't work first time- just eat the evidence and try again ;) maaaan i love rice krispie squares, can you send me one?

equal weights butter, marshmallows, toffee, krispies.

butter and line a suitable collection of cake tins,
put the krispies into a large bowl
melt the rest together in a pan over a gentle heat,
pour over the krispies, and mix quickly
put it in the tins, pressing down lightly.
    cut before completely cold,
    chill then break apart

Quick tip: the best way to melt the chocolate is to put it in a glass bowl and rest the bowl in a saucepan with water in the bottom. Don't let the water touch the bowl though or the chocolate can burn and that's just a waste

How was it not constructive? There were a whole host of rice krispie square recipes on there including ones with marshmallows.

    Won't bother next time

because you never know whether a random recipe will be OK - by asking people, you get to weed out all the ones they've tried and didn't like/get on with.

Of course, you then get recipies written down by people who couldn't communicate how to make cheese on toast, so it's swings and roundabouts.

The ideal answer is oh yes, I use this [ link ] all the time
