I've just booked my first holiday all on my own! :hyper: I've booked / bought the following:-

- Apartment
- Flight
- Car hire (direct from airport so no need for transfers)
- Ordered E111
- Travel insurance

I need to find a way to get to the airport (for an 0815 flight), but I'm working on that.

What else do I need to do? Anything?

Thanks! :)

Bulgaria, for a week from June 18th.

Found an apartment with two bathrooms (one bedroom!), sauna and private plunge pool and sea views (yet set up on a hill towards the mountains) for £150!! Bargainous! :hyper:

that sounds amazing!! i always find having a variety of different handbags/daybags/rucksacks is useful. and also a mini folder/massive purse for keeping ur passport and flight details and stuff at the airport.

Pack a change of clothes in your hand luggage incase your bags go missing - I normally pack a bikini as well so i can hang out on the beach.

Make sure you follow the liquids guidelines - you can only take less than 100 ml onto the plane of any one item - which includes things like mascara and toothpaste, lipstick - and you have to fit all your bottles into a plastic bag about the same size as a small sandwich bag.

If you have anything larger it has to go in the hold - if you get as far as security control with it - then it gets thown away.
