Ann Summers party

I've been invited to an Ann Summers party. Not sure whether to go. I think the stuff in Ann Summers is overpriced. Am I likely to feel pressured to buy things?

Nah, well I've never felt pressurised into buying something anyway.

The last one I went to the rep was a Sunday School teacher, needless to say it wasnt a very good party!

I have been and people, often inc myself have managed not to walk out of there with no purchases. Dont miss out just because you are worried you will spend money, leave your card at home. It is an excuse and will help you resist temptation.
They are good fun, and alcohol is recommended, so perhaps just call up the girl you have been invited by and ask if she needs you to bring a bottle, and that can be your spending for the evening.
    have fun, and enjoy yourself!

i've been to a few and iv never felt pressured to buy stuff. its if you can resist is the problem! iv always found them to be really fun. at the ones iv been to we've played games and things, you have to pay but its only like £1, and i won a vibrator :D it depends if you have a good host or not i suppose. its a good girly laugh.

but yeah i dont think you'll feel pressured!

I held one once and there was no pressure on *anyone* to buy anything. It was more of a giggle, girly night sort of thing with lots of wine and no boys. Afterwards, we went clubbing. It was a good night for all. Not many people bought anything but everyone had a good time.

I'm a party organiser for Ann Summers! The parties are such a laugh - we never pressure anyone into buying something they don't want to. Obviously, the party organiser will make earnings from her sales, so it's bound to be a bit OTT and pushy in that repect, but she can't make you buy something that you don't want to buy. I've had plenty of people at my parties who don't buy, but it's understandable, people go for the fun at the end of the day.

Don't miss out on going to a fun girlie night just because you're worried about being pressured. There'll be other girls there who don't buy aswell.

    Have fun!

I wonder what a blokes version would be like? It would probably just be loads of lads gettin pissed and watching porn... or maybe... "Hey we played this game and I won a rubber pussy".

    you simply must go!!
i went with a friend, thru no choice of my own, but ended up having such a quality time.
i didnt buy anything, u can always use the excuse 'i will go in the shop coz i dont want to wait for delivery' or 'just been paid, already blown my wages'.
i think a lot depends on the host / guests / organiser, but they are lots of fun!! let us no if u go!!

ive been to loads and held quite a few, ive never felt pressured to buy anything but it is often tempting to spend. I'd definatly go and join in the games etc, just leave your card / money at home like others have said!
