Why does nobody know about this show....I LOVE IT! FX on Thursdays, but we're into season 4. So good, so real and gritty.

    Try watching David Simon's The Corner or Homice: Life on the Streets as well.

    But regardless, as Simon said himself The Wire is a chance to address in drama the real world of many American - it is the best social drama made in America in the last 20 years

    Aw man, I love it. Totally underrated but I suppose that's due in part to being on FX.

    Have missed the last few weeks but I WILL catch up, by hook or by crook :heart:

    Even in America, it's underrated, but it's SO good! I love that there are people on here who have seen it...Wire fans are few and far between in my area.
