What is everyone's experience with Salvia / Salvinorin ?

Hi.. I am new here,
I was wondering how many people have tried Salvia and what they thought of it...
everytime I do it in significant amounts, my world tends to come apart for a few minutes... it is absolutely freeakkin bizarre, extreme distortions of space, time, gravity and feeling are commonplace, sometimes intense impersonal laughter just takes me over seemingly for no reason (not like being drunk or stoned), the other thing is the "entities"... feelings of energy that sometimes seem to take form and even communicate...

The thing to remember is that this is a VERY strong hallucenogenic, and you really cannot rely on what you remember feeling being the same as what you felt at the time.
Its always worth having some-one else there to "baby-sit" or act as "minder", more so than with LSD or mushrooms. Added to the safty issues its interesting for them to tell you how you were acting / what you were doing while on it.
A video camera would be an intereting idea (i like the smile i habitually wear when tripping) but we haven't been able to find one that we can borrow yet. But then again I'm not sure i'd like some-one filming me while tripping... Scary Fish-eye camera lens...

Personally i havent tried it yet cos cant find it anywhere, would love to though.
Yeah I'll agree that it does kinda detach you from your surroundings for a bit, its strange, the other day (with all the NOS) I commented out the blue with us three sat down in front of a tree;
"We're like frogs here aren't we, smoking frogs"
It detaches you slightly and then leaves you afterwards feeling a touch distorted and almost mellow like from weed...
Only thing I dislike about is the harshness it has on your throat, it almost strips the lining red roar... ughhh...
Anyone know any shops in England where you can get it?
they make the only real "commercial" salvia i have seen... they have a few distributors in the north-east of england too (phone the shop to check first).. check out the distributors link.
PS - be REAL careful with this stuff, especially the 6x Extract version.
Salvia is 100% legal (for now)
the only the thing keeping it so is the fact that poeple aren't currently showing up in Emergency rooms and Treatment centres with Salvia problems... so lets keep it that way... aye!

with cannabis here in the UK.. there can't be much chance of salvia being targetted by The Man like it is being in the US.

Is it worth the money?
Hey there, the Forum in Sheffield (Division St) sells Salvia.
Just read all of these messages with avid interest.. I tried Salvia and it didn't affect me at all. I tried some normal stuff, then a 6x extract. I smoked it in a spliff then in a bong.. and still nothing!
I do believe all of your fantastic experiences, and I wish I could achieve that, but has anyone got any ideas <IMG SRC="confused.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> why it didn't do anything for me? The dude in the shop I got it from reckons my body just doesn't react to it. <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> Who knows!!

if that all sounds too rough.. why not go for sublingual. salvinorin will abosrb through the mouth, gums and tongue so just leave some raw herb under your tongue.. chewing occasionally.. after less than 10 minutes you WILL start to feel the effects, it is a slower trip this way too... and easier to handle.. though it also lasts longer than smoking it.
the absolute best way is to use a high-powered "windproof" lighter (the ones like mini-afterburners) and smoke some extract through a pipe.. this never fails and has even worked too well once or twice.
another strange thing about salvia is that if you keep trying it your tolerance will actually DROP, so be very careful.
I would have to say it is worth the effort and money if your quite into the psychedelic thing... nothing else except maybe DMT can quite match it for all-ecompassing intensity.. as for me..a gram of 10x extract is enough for 15-20 STRONG trips.
