I've got a couple of quid on Joes Edge and Point Barrow... not very imaginative, I know...

    The one bet I've had on a horse was the winner three years ago :thumb:

    I backed hedgehunter but he was weighted out of the race really. He was in that final pack near the end, but the weights took the steam out of him. Seeing as the handicap system is supposed to equal it out, it needs reviewing because he was carrying a bigger handicap than any horse needs for the national. Still, I knew that before the race - I just backed him because I fancied some Red Rum style magic - he's definately been the best national horse since Red Rum...
