Drink or Drive

BunnieBunnie Posts: 6,099 Master Poster
In about 30mins, I am going out into town. Do I a) save pennies and drive in and stick to diet coke for the evening, or b) phone a taxi and have a few bevvies!

I am soooo indecisive!

God knows. Depends who you're going with, what you're going to be doing...

    Toss a coin or something.

about £4 there and back, but the drinks will cost more.

you could always walk there, a £4 taxi ride couldn't be that long away surely? and they may put the prices up seeing as it's easter sunday.

Never thought of that. Bugger *cancels her own taxi* I'll walk it. Mines a £4 taxi journey as well, so you're right, it can't be that far.

ha. I do that most weeks as I forget to put some money by.

I might get a taxi regardless (god bless parents paying for my to go out as a "easter treat") but still. £8 for what is a 10 min wwalk might make me cry.

get a friend to stay over or stay at theirs. i've walked home a handful of times on my own but it's certainly not advisable or sensible. don't do it. :(

I know it's not. Unfortunetly, all of my friends (and myself) have work in the morning. So it's home for all of us

Have worked out if I walk in I'll prob be able to get some money out of the cashpoint to come home. Therefore I wont spend it in the bar :) Most sensible option I can come up with, especiall if I can bribe my dad into giving me a lift.
