Ready-to-Roast Joints

Does anyone know where does a good "ready to roast" joint? I've seen the ads for Iceland (with Kerry Katona!) but are they actually any good?

I've never cooked a roast before! I thought this might be an easy way!

Personally i'd never have one. I think roasting a joint of meat from frozen is risky.

Don't be silly...they are easy. Get yourself down to any good butchers and tell him you want to cook a roast and what type...beef and chicken are easy, lamb i've never done but is pretty much the same as cooking beef and i have no idea about pork/ham.

But its pretty much, salt and pepper....any other herbs you like and pop it in the oven for about an hour and a half. Get yourself a meat thermometer and that will make cooking a cinch.

I would give the Iceland ones a miss.

M&S does a nice butter basted chicken one (fresh, not frozen).

Waitrose and M&S do nice ones. (Although their ones are chilled, not frozen).
