i posted yesterday about airbrushing techniques...well it turns out i got the job! well happy.:)

but we need a name for the company.

its a small design company that does the designs/airbrushing of mountain bike race teams. racewear, helmets and the like. might get to snowboarding, motocross, skateboarding stuff in the future.

im crap with names.....help!

(there is a successful california based company that does similar stuff, called 'troy lee designs'. not exactly amazing name, but for a company with a small rep, a name can is very important.)

You could do what my daughter's ex bf did when he was looking for a name, open a book and stick a pin in at random.

Although, he was looking for a new surname, the book he used was the phone directory and he didn't realise he was looking in the business section and unfortunately, using that method, would've ended up being called Carl Garage.

Maybe it's not such a good idea after all. :chin:

I did that on deciding on a username for a site once, using a dictionary. Ended up with CyanidePumpkin :D

    active design
    explorer design
    bandwagon
    drumbeat
    blueprint
    snowtech design
    headbox
    headcase

it doesnt need to have 'design' at the end... i was thinking of using words such as: sketch, plan, draw, outline, draft, tech, blueprint, project...etc.

    activeprint?
    motostyle?
blah! i dunno....im going to meet the guy on monday to discuss this sort of stuff.

anybody else with an idea? thanks.

Take a look at a few of the usernames on this board, plenty of original ones, and most have been thought up on the spur of the moment, so won't appear like you've sat at a desk for hours thinking one up...

Failing that think of a word that fits your intentions as a business and look in a thesaurus, for alternative ones?

Or go for one that has no meaning at all, they always have great success, just ask Consignia... :chin: Whooooooo
