just a question i thought up last night......

who is the most famous actor/actress never to die in one of their films?

yes the term "famous" is subjective but i just thought it might be a bit of a "timewaster" ( in the nicest possible sense) to think about

http://www.imdb.com may be of some assistance

The Departed is a good one for famous actors dying.

Though you've kinda ruined it for anyone that hasn't seen it now. ;)

Did Jodie Foster die in anything? Or Natalie Portman?

Sean Connery? I know he died in the first Highlander movie but the fact that he was back from the dead in the sequel negates the dead thing surely?

Oh no. Similarly, anyone who gets turned into a zombie or vampire, and subsequently gets turned back still counts as dieing.

Well that rules out Tom Cruise then due to Interview With a Vampire then.

    Good question. I like this.

    :)

    Partially, I know. That's why I didn't mention name/names.

Is that does or should? :p

Edited to add : Checked IMDB and it would appear he hasn't died in any of the movies listed. But he's hardly a HUGH movie star with only 15(ish) movies under his belt.

I'm thinking all those old romantic movie stars.

Vivian Leigh, Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant etc etc.

Who cares? It's about the most famous. And he gets paid more than most others. ;)

    Sylvester Stallone?

That's stretching the definition of "famous actor" a bit. I mean God, using "actor" like that.

I don't know about this question but Steve Buscemi must die in almost every film he's in!

Off the top of my head, Ghost World and Animal Factory. In fact, I can only think of Reservoir Dogs. He doesn't die in Pulp Fiction does he? Just trying to think.
