I've heard people say that it's bad to mix your drinks, but why is it?

"Try not to mix your drinks, because you're only adding to the number of toxins that your body has to deal with. If you're planning on a session then stick to one kind of falling-down juice. That way you won't crash out so badly."
Basically, if you mix, you'll suffer more the next day, and long-term.
Also by mixing drinks you are less in control of how drunk you get and how fast - you may suddenly vomit or pass out.
edited because i'm being forgetful.

Mixing alcohol and energy drinks has reported serious health issues in the press because of the 'stimulant' vs 'depressant' properties, Energy drinks are loaded with caffeine, sugar, amino acids and potent herbs and they do pack quite a wallop when it comes to caffeine or other stimulants and can cause heatstoke and other health hazzards like seizures when mixed with alcohol or used for exercise...
There are a lot of risky things you can get up to, nothings safe but at least if you know then dangers then you can at least be aware and make these decisions for yourself..
I started on Cider moved onto Champagne from there I went to Smirnoff Ice, Sambooka, back to Campagne and to finish it off Aftershock!
Big mistake! I was still pissed New Years Day, Cant remember half of what happend that night. What I've been told happend isnt pretty and its put me off drinking for a while. When I do decide to drink again I certainly wont be mixing!
