does anybody know how to stop sniffing solvents wen ur hooked?

my friend is VERY BIG on sniffing solvents and he cant stop,he does about 1 can of aerosol a day . I want to help him but i want to give him the right information about wot hes wrecking his life on. any help??

4 ur m8 2 b able 2 stop u need 2 no wot type they r.
the best way 2 stop i found was 2 eat sugar alot instead so then u focos all ur attenton on th@ and not the taking of drugs

I used to use solvents to escape from a lot of bad feelings I had inside. I guess councilling helped a lot, maybe that is why your friend does solvents...to help him cope.
Does he by any chance cut or harm himself?

My mate told me last night that he used to cut himself and he kept sniffing gas from his lighter He said he once tried to hang himslf. He's a good mate and I never would have guessed he was feeling this way. He said he felt good after he cut himself and i think he might start using solvents heavily instead. <IMG alt="image" SRC="frown.gif" border="0"> <IMG alt="image" SRC="confused.gif" border="0">
