vista + photoshop and other software?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I haven't been checking in this forum much, so I have no idea if I'll get chastised by windows-bashers for this! I bought an academic copy of Vista off eBay ($68!) and have yet to install it, as I'm unsure whether my current software will work with it. The official line is that Adobe Photoshop is not certified, but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't work at all.

Has anyone tried photoshop with vista?

Also, if anyone's using vista, have you had any major software issues and if so, what software was it? The main software I'm using at the moment is: photoshop, acrobat pro, iTunes 7, MS office 2003, firefox 2, nero 7, limewire 4, bittornado (a bittorrent front-end), powerdvd 7.

Also any ideas whether DivX / Xvid works with vista?

Many thanks!

    The following things DO work.

    - Photoshop
    - Limewire
    - Itunes
    - MS Office 2003
    - Firefox
    - Adobe

DviX DOES work not sure about Xvid and powerdvd or bit torrent and nero

DivX and Xvid have both worked for me, as has uTorrent.
