Mackerel

What is the best way to cook it? I have salad and a piece of smoked mackerel. Can I just remove from the pack and slap it in the frying pan for 10minutes?

    you dont even need to cook it if its smoked.

    Its a smoked mackerel fillet. You mean you can eat it cold? I dont want that will putting it in the frying pan be ok?

    I would bung it under the grill for a bit. But i always eat smoked mackerel cold.

    :no: Don't add any sauce, maybe brush it with a bit of olive oil before grilling though. Just add it straight on top of the salad after cooking then squirt a bit of lemon juice over it :yum:
