Arrrghghg its Thursday - its 4pm and i have just under 3 hours to think of somethign to do with my guides this evening and i'm really stuck.

Can anyone think of an activity that doesn't require any specialist equipment which will entertain 7 girls aged between 10-12 for and hour and a half.

I'm stumped...

Cornflour you don't mean gloop do you?

I have brownies tonight, not sure what we are doing.

How about a board games night? Or parachute games if you have one? Failing them too just games? lol then mabye pop in the supermarket on the way home and get some chocolate to melt, some cocktail sticks and strawberrys/marshmellows for a dip? and make milkshakes?

If none of those sound suitable just say and I will keep thinking!

Carving things out of leeks, duh :p

Probably not in the slightest bit feasable but you could have fun trying and then make leek and potato soup with the leftovers!

They can wash my car, I'll even supply the bucket and water .. :)

If you want entertainment though then I'll have to get the pressure washer out cos you can have real fun with that, writing words and drawing pictures into the dirt of a pavement

cinema trip that just shows how unguiding experience you have
you need lots of forms and permission and planning for a cinema trip, and probably for the camp fire too!

    Bloody forms and safety!

i was in the cubs. we were hardcore. we cooked bananas in foil and then looked at stars. was ace.

Most of the time, we just used to climb on the walls / other odd bits of furniture lying aroudn. :/ That sounds a bit weird now, but I assure you, it was fun.

you could do make your own easter eggs, by blowing up a balloon, placing in a mug, melting chocolate, sloshing over, melting diff coloured chocolate to paint designs on, fridge, pop balloon, eat. yum

I was cruel and evil and made them do a mini eisteddfod - and each write a poem in welsh and read it out!

Well I did also say they could do it in english about wales.

Then i said they had to plan something for next week otherwise we would have another eisteddfod - worked wonders....
