Anyone been to Greece?

I'm going in september..will it still be hot?
I'm going to Aegina island, whats it like? whats good to do there?

    I've been to crete. Was good but went with my parents and my sister which made it boring hehe

    We went in August and was stupidly nicely hot! September should be good!

    I've been to a few Greek islands, not the one you've mentioned though.

    I've been to Greece every year for about 6 yrs. Been to Skiathos, Corfu and our fave, Lesvos.

    When we went to Skiathos in Sept, it rained 10 out of the 14 days we were there. Came home as pale as I went out there. It sucked.
    Went to Lesvos in Sept a couple of times and it's been okay, not the best - very windy and unsettled.
    In september it does tend to get quite chilly at night, so you'll need to wrap up in the evenings, especially in the tavernas it gets quite cool.

    (I reckon the best time to go to Greece is late may to late june.)

    I went to Greece at Easter a few years ago, including a visit to Aegina. It's an island (as you know) so is prone to chilly winds and in September may get some rain so be prepared for that, but it should be really pleasant weather.

    I do live here (and I am a he) but I'll probably disappoint you. I've never been to Aegina, and you probably want to know about the clubbing etc scene, which is a thing I despise anyway.
    As for the weather, in the places I've been, September is still summer. Hot and sunny like I like it, so it will probably be OK. However, the weather has been crazy this past year (it didn't feel like winter until the beginning of February) so who knows what the summer will be like... And it's still that I've not been to Aegina, so it might be a lot different than I imagine.

    If there's something else you'd like to know that I can say, ask freely. :)

    I've been there many many times. Aegina is very close to Athens, only about 1 hour by ferry.
    It's a nice island but nothing like the islands belonging to Cyclades.
    Are you staying at Agia Marina perhaps? That's the place with the best beach and nightlife...
