The light on my new wireless router wont come on under the telephone sign.
In the manual it says this sign should be on, anyone got any ideas what could be the problem??
I have called the helping but they were fucking useless

I spent two and a half hours on the phone trying to sort this one out. The best the guy could recommend was take it back to the shop
Model Number?
If its netgear, you have to turn on the wireless in the control panel
What is the light meant to indicate?
Have you got broadband enabled on your line?
Have you used broadband on your line before with another modem and has it worked?
Have you used this router on another line before and has it worked?
Have you put in your username and password into the router to connect to the internet and checked the settings for connection?
I took the router back to the shop and got another one, which is working fine. Must just have been that router.
