Grr at cd/dvd writer

Ok i have copy a music cd fine, i can play/ read a music cd. But it's not letting me into the blank cd to drag some picture files onto it. Why would that happe?
It won't even let me explore the blank cd.
It just says summat like D:/Not accessable/avaliable:banghead:

    Hey.

    Could you go over the problem again? What's happening? You're trying to write to a blank cd? What program are you using to write to the cd? And where / when does it come up with error 'unable to access cd drive' or similar?

    Don't worry i changed a setting on the writer and it seems to have sorted it.
