dont wanna seem rude but

    what the fuck is it?

i gather its for clearing up spots, but is it cream, medicine, part of Fat_Mike's secret stash or what?

My classmates will copulate with anything that moves, but I've never seen any reason to limit myself <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/ukliam2.gif">

yeah, its one of the strongest treatments you can get to clear up spots. Its a tablet & you take one or 2 a day for 8-18 (ish) weeks. You can only get it from the hospital and its one of the most effective treatments there is.

ok <repeat: must make uber, must make uber>

so ... is it only given out in special cases or can u just demand treatment? and is it for just spots or does it include acne?

Nah, only jokin!! You have to get reffered by your doctor, and they'll only reffer you after you've tried all of the other treatments you can get (and there's a LOT)!

It can take ages to get accepted for treatment, ive been on one treatment or another for about 4 years now, and only was allowed to go onto roaccutane about 5 months ago. So yeah, its special cases- mild to bad acne where other treatments have failed. OK?

yep ro-accutane does indeed kick ass where acne is concerned.

    try everything your doc suggests/prescribes..

cleansing, topical treatment, peroxides, antibiotics, even good ol sunlight...when all else fails ask about Ro-accutane.

It's effects are systematic unlike lotions but it's the most effective treatment available (and damn expensive too). But thats why our NHS is there so use it.

Should NOT be taken in some circumstances, especially pregnant women as it can harm the unborn child.

ive had acne for aout 5 years and ive been on medicine for it for about 3 years! recently my doctor put me on the pill! its really good! i havent had any side affects(yet) reading the booklet that came with them i found that its got something 2 do with male hormones in the body (dont ask me how this works seeing as both males and females suffer from it)

I suffered from acne for about 2 and a half years and was on all kinds of antibiotics and creams prescribed by my doctor for around 18 months! This stuff never worked and my acne just wouldn't go away. It was only after all this time that my doc made me an appointment at the hospital where they prescribed me roaccutane. I took 1 tablet a day for about 8 weeks and my acne disappared almost straight away!

If you've got acne, ask to use this stuff because its the best thing around.

The only problem with it tho is that your skin gets v.dry and your lips will become quite sore - a price which i thought was worth paying.

By the way, the effects do last even after you stop taking it - i've been off it for about 6 months and have only had about 5 spots!! Not bad eh!

1 tab a day for 8 weeks? ur acne can't have been that bad then, but still...30 months is a long time to have it :S

glad to hear another success story. bodes well for the next couple of months, after which i come off it. *cant wait november*

    then i can DRINK again! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"> yayayyyy
