Ok.
So I've been in Glasgow a month now.
I'm still gainfully UNemployed and although I know it's
only temporary, I need something to help while away the hours in the meantime.
Idle time is the devils playchild...
and I don't want to succumb to the magnetism of mischeif, but I'm fading.
What do ppl do all day in this city?
I'm open to suggestion.
Because right now I feel socially stagnant and unproductive.
And I have so much pent up enthusiasm and curiosity.
So.
Whatchu got?
I'm listening...intently.

You can search for opps through our sister site http://www.do-it.org.uk

ETA - sorry took link out, wouldn't save the search
Why don't you try some voluntary work for a while just to keep the mind active and to meet new people as well as helping out of course!
As for free things to do, there are plenty of museums such as the Transport Museum or the Kelvingrove art gallery or even the Gallery of Modern Art in the city centre which are all free to visit. There are also some nice walks on Glasgow Green or in Kelvingrove park in the west end.
Let me know if you need more ideas!
