Request from Lambent Productiosn for help with a Channel 4 Education show -
My name's Lindsey, I'm 24, and I work for a TV production company in Brighton where we're currently making a 10-part documentary series for Channel 4 Education, and we're looking for young people (ideally aged 14-18) to take part.
Are you a teenager that wants to have your say? Would you like to express your passions, insights and point of view in a film about your life? Do you sometimes feel that your parents don't understand you, and that you don't understand them?
If so, we'd like to hear from you. It’s the opportunity to show your parents a unique perspective of yourself, on your own terms, and to discover more about them at the same time.
The series is called WELCOME TO MY WORLD, and it'll take a fresh and lively look at family life – a chance to see things from all perspectives. It's not about conflict - instead, it’s about the issues and situations that many families experience, and a positive way to explore some of these for both you and the people watching.
We're looking for rich and diverse stories - what are the issues that affect you and your mates, or your community, or your family? It really could be any kind of story - we're looking forward to hearing what you think.
We specialise in making documentaries for and about young people, and we pride ourselves in dealing with contributors sensitively and with the greatest of respect. Plus, the way we work means that you’ll get involved creatively too. You can read more about us at www.lambentproductions.co.uk
