I've just got into my poetry again, big time, and I've been looking for ways to get it criticised/reviewed by people who might know what they're on about. Any ideas of where I can send my stuff/who I could show it to for some intelligent constructive criticism? I've got a deviantart account and a writing.com account but it's hard to get comments on those sites (or so I've found - I'm pretty new to it all)

Consulting the writer's handbook, you could try:

The Poetry Society, Academi and The Poetry Book Society.

poetry writing is well hard to get into, getting published is nigh impossible.

There are quite a few TheSiters who write good poetry and I know some have been published, but I'll let them identify themselves if they want to.

Entering poetry competitions, going along to slams, literature festivals and any kind of poetry events is a good place to meet the right kinds of people.
