Self harm scars- help

A while back i felt really shit and used to cut myself but now I'm left with these really obvious marks on my arms and i don't know what to. its obvious how i got them and i feel really nervous about wearing tops which show my arms cuz everyone can see my cuts. Please tell me there is something i can do to help get rid of the scars, i know that they will fade in time but people will think I'm abit weird if i go round all summer wearing long sleeved tops an big sweaters. help!!!

    i have a few on my arms, my friends know about them so i am not too bothered but my family don't know. i get self contious, my friend has them on her wrists to and itis going all around school and she is getting into so muc touble with people, can anybody help?
