Horrible :(

Over the past year I have put quite a bit of weight on due to depression and well laziness. I am now quite worried about my legs. At the back of my knees there are deep red veins, they don't hurt but they look horrible. On my thighs I have thinner lines, blue coloured, and the same on my breasts. Are they stretch marks, varicose veins, or something else?

It makes me feel so ugly I am supposed to be going on holiday in the summer, even if I lose the weight I am going to look disgusting in a skirt or swimming costume with these lines and marks.

Does anyone else have them? How can I get rid of them?

The red marks on the back of your legs are most likely stretch marks. Are you quite pale? The blue-ish lines are probably veins you can see through the skin. The red marks will fade to a silvery-grey colour in time - some people use cocoa butter to help them to fade.
I'd say most females have stretch marks - so you're not alone there. They WILL fade and won't be nearly as noticeable. If you feel self-concious on the beach or whatever, you can get stuff called derma-blend that is quite good for hiding marks and scars.
Try to avoid yo-yo dieting as this can make stretchmarks worse. Most people on the beach will be far too concious of how they look to notice you, but you don't have to wear a swimming costume if you feel uncomfortable - you'll see plenty of others covering up.

Try not to worry too much about them - easier said than done, but they are totally normal.

Thanks Miss Quoted. It always makes me feel bad though cos my friend who I am going on holiday with is tall and slim and always goes on about how fat she is I will try the cocoa butter.

Oh yes, there is always one who takes it upon themselves to point out their ONE stretchmark whilst wearing their skimpy bikini.
Ignore 'em! Sunbathing is boring anyway, have a kick about, go paddling - if you're having fun you haven't got as much time to worry about how you look.
Fake tan might be an idea - if you're feeling brave, but have a trail run beforehand incase you look like you've been tango-ed.
