What do you mean? How the character dies, or ways I've died while playing?

    Adam - Dead Rising

That was a pretty grim way to go.

    All the Mortal Kombat fatalities.

All of them? I didn't like everyone of them but I liked the Animalities In MK 3 and the Hara Kiris of deception are a nice touch.

Massive spoiler...Berri's death in Conker's Bad Fur Day...not a 'great' death but I thought it was absolutley heart breaking and it kinda shocked me a bit.

The initial shock at Ganondorf's death(?) in Zelda: Wind Waker (kind of out-of-character for that game).
Hector LeMans in Grim Fandango (though that technically wasn't a death :p).

Ozzy Mandrill - Monkey Island 4

    what happens?

She was gunned down by Don Weaso. It's a really depressing ending to a game, Conker is declared king but realises that his reason for living was just killed in front of him. He gets drunk and then just wanders off.

I sat muttering "fucking hell" all the way through the credits.

bit graphic to be put in a kids game, Guns, murder, depression and alcaholism.

Conker's bad fur day wasn't a kids' game though.
Nor was Wind Waker really, contrary to what one may think.

Ahh, Conker's Bad Fur Day was most certainly an adult game. Completely juvenile but not for kids. One of the bosses was a giant piece of singing shit. An operatic singing giant piece of shit at that. :D

I feel kinda bad when I play pokemon because they say they 'fainted' but we all really know we kill them (the wild ones anyway)

The Manhunt executions are amongst the goriest deaths I've seen in computer games.

My particular favourites are sickle to the crotch, axe to the face, and hacking head off with a meat cleaver.

    Enjoy them all here:

I like the Glass shard to the eyeballs.

Lance Vance in GTA:Vice City was a good one.

Yea, most of them are pretty good in their own way. I liked how in order to perform the really grusome ones you had to keep the button held for longer, and take more risk of getting caught, then you got a sick rating at the end of each level. :D

Another one of my favourites in when he buckles the guy with the basball bat so the he's on his knees, then swings full whack at his head, and his skull smashes into bits. Very satisfying.

Glass shard to the eye is also a good one. It would be nice to see a game like that on the nextgen consoles for added realism.

would be something to see on the next gen, mind you the 360's had an interesting line up of gory games so far.

I loved the adult content of Bad fur Day. Hated most of the game as it was frustrating to play. The singing operatic shit boss was hilarious, and I probably still know the words to the song.

In Warhammer 40k: Dark Crusade, when you kill off Chaos in the campaign. The Blood Prince appears and the champion shouts, "These servants are useless, they did not have strong enough faith."

And the Blood Prince responds, "What kind of shephard is that, blaming his herd." And then killing him in a cool fashion.

The video scene in War Craft 3, where Thrall and Grom Hellscream fight against the pit lord. And grom made this dash and fucking slays the beast (but dies himself).

The little girl's death near the start of Cthulu Dark Corners of the Earth - shocking stuff.

And your wife's (your's?) acceptance of her suicide in Silent Hill 2.

Two of the most heartfelt deaths in games.

Oh and the first time killing a chainsaw maniac in Resident Evil 4 - just a huge relief not to hear that damn engine whirring away whilst running like a lunatic through the village.

    All the Mortal Kombat fatalities.

Yep. I liked the babalities too, but not quite as much as the fatalities.
