bleeding whilst on the pill..

Hi!,
I'm on the pill but I missed a pill a couple of weeks ago and didn't realise until I came to take the next days pill that the previous one was still there. I took both then but I had, had sex that night, not realising my mistake. Now I am having breakthrough bleeding which I have never had before, I have done some research and I some places say that it's a sign of pregnancy!
anyone have any Ideas or experiences??

    How long have you been on the pill?

    If you haven't been on it very long, then chances are that the bleeding you are experiancing is just a side effect of you body adjusting to the pill.

    Maybe the bleeding you are having is your period.

    Try not to worry too much, just wait until you are due your period and if you don't get it, then go to your G.P to get it checked out. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    get a pregnancy test. sometimes missing a pill can stimulate you to ovulate straight away, thats why they say if you are 12 hours late taking a pill, then use condoms for a week. breakthrough bleeding can be a sign of pregnancy.
