what Spyware stuff do you use

I am using Microsoft Defender and I think it's stopping my P2P apps from working, other stuff ain't working as it should either, might change, what do you use?

    Currently windows defender but to be honest I'm close to uninstalling it because of it's annoying random scans that hog the cpu and disk.

    on a similar note, does anyone know any good free firewall software except the windows one and zonealarm?

    Adaware, Spybot & Windows Defender at the moment.

    Used to use Spyware Doctor and others but these three are probably the best of the bunch i've found.

    I still use Sygate Pro, even thugh it's no more it's still one of the best. the free version is good as well. there is also Kerio which has been dubed as the "The Sygate replacement".

    Yes, you should. And, in fact, I have. But it still seems to decide randomly when it wants to hog the computer.

    I use Windows Defender and have no problems with it whatsoever. It does the job.

    I use Sygate too. I didn't like Kerio when I tried it.

    Adaware and Spybot S&D, don't find i need any more seems to do the trick everytime.
