no i dont think you NEED a man. i managed for 16 years just fine! and now im so glad not to be going out with my ex anymore, i was just thinking how much happier i was today actually, i told my friend and she gave me a funny look. ive been single now for longer than she has been in the past 2 years!!! and its only been 6 weeks, and shes seen 3 blokes in that time!!

i think maybe some people do need a bloke.. like her, she just cant stay single, even though she seems happier when she's single to me, more fun and a nicer person. (but that might be the influence of her evil boyf making her horrible the rest of the time!) its obviously nice to have a bloke, but i wouldnt say you necessarily needed someone. particularly if you have good friends you can confide in and have a laugh with.

i think you have to get used to being without everything a boyfriend offers you for a while afterwards, but it gets back to normal gradually, even though you feel like you cant do without a bloke in the meantime! but you get used to being single again, then it's ok

i rambled on a bit didnt i! nothing new...! sorry

i've just broken up with my b/f and at first, i feel i need a man as i was so used to being in a relationship. but now when i think about it, im doing fine on my own, go as far as saying im enjoying myself.
i like the freedom i once lost and being able to flirt and just have friends with my mates...
but who know? it is nice being in a relationship but being single has its pros too!

I think it differs between different women, some girls i know can't exist without having a better half by her side, some couldn't give a flying toss, and a fair few of them are happy with other lasses...which in fact proves not every woman needs a man, groovy

I think every1 feels like that wen they first come out of a relationship, then after a little while you realise that all men are wankers and that u are by far better off on ur own. I'm the happiest i have been now that i have no contact with my ex!

I don't know whether a woman needs a man or vice a versa. But every human needs companionship, whether it be with a member of the opposite sex, or same sex, or another species (ie a dog or cat)everyone needs a good friend to get through life. After all isn't that what a good relationship is about, good friendship ?.

AAAAAAAARGH!!

well now that u seem to have finished shattering my integrity i shall proceed to correct u.
Piscine is indeed the french for swimming pool, which is all very well...as long as i was speaking french which i wasn't!!!

Piscine is a catagorisation for fish, in the same way that 'invertebrates' is for insects, 'reptiles' is for the scaley things, and 'mammals' is for us!! Piscine is for fish, hence Pisces the star sign is a fish and, hence piscine is associated with water in a swimming pool in france!!!

i am now very much put about at having my linguistic abilities scathed and am going to indulge in tears

But good escape nonetheless...there there MB, you're still the funny man in my books.

I've not lost my mind it's inserted elsewhere - hence the limp.

the automation was meant to be the bicycle, tho strictly speaking it isn't automatic because you have to pedal but i couldn't think of anything else

ah well, next time

anyway....... back to the topic........

i'd always prided myself on being a kick arse independant bitch, be equally happy without a bloke as she was with.
but since i broke up with my last b/f i dunno. he was my longest relationship yet and after i kinda went a bit mad having all these flings so i don't think i ever really got over it. now i seem to crave affection and every male friend seems to be a potential b/f. explain that!!! whats happened to me?!

i'm not denying that women are stupid; God made us to match the men.
