I'm not the only one going through a BIG crisis here! 1 of my close friends has found out her boyfriend is moving to Brazil next week! Shes devistated! I cant think of anything to cheer her up, nothing works! And it hurts me to cause this guy is like.....my best friend(as a guy)!! Ah, what am i like,eh?! So any ideas how to chher her up!

i dont know what you can do really, are they gonna stay together, in a long distance kinda way? hopefully you can keep in touch with himtoo, by email or letters or something. if theyre not gonna stay together, you can take her out somewhere looking for other blokes to snog! prob the wrong time to start a relationship (see all my other posts lately!) but no harm in looking! and of course you have to be on hand with the chocolate/ice cream/friends vids/alcohol/parties! anything like that to cheer her up. when hes moved away shes gonna need you and all her other friends to cheer her up, it really does help having people who care about you to be there for you at times like this.

let her get her anger out cos im sure shes gonna be pissed off and dont take it personally, let her cry with you, when she laughs make her laugh more,
im sure knowing shes still got a mate will be something to her.
Yeah, i was the 1st one he told as i'm one of his best friends! He told me about a month ago! It was really hard to keep it from her but he didnt know how to tell her and now he has..shes heartbroken! I am a wee bit as he's one of my best mates, but they are so made for each other!I told her we should both get a job and save for a couple of years and we'll fly out to see him!
