Slightly immoral but...

My bf gave me his password on hotmail for me to help him do something.

If I read his other e-mails etc will he be able to tell? I know I should mark as unread any new ones but will he be able to see how often I entered his account or what other e-mails I read?

I think he would be able to tell tbh. I dont think theres a way of marking them as unread if theyre read. Maybe hes testing to see how much you trust him?

but yes, it's all down to trust.

    Exactly.

He is used to me living in an insecure and paranoid state - when I'm at his and the post comes he lets me read it too.

There are a few e-mails from a female friend of his which I am particularly interested to read. He has already read them anyway but I am curious to see what they say.

well, he probably wont expect anything else then lol.
Do you find the paranoia lessens after you have satisfied your curiosity or do you then look for other stuff?

No, not yet. So far I have resisted the temptation.

Keep up the good work :p It's a sense of mutual trust you need in a relationship, but i don't think he'll kill you because you read his messages. I wouldn't even be surprised if my partner ever did that, but I'd be slightly disappointed.

Do you trust him? If you do leave well alone, after all he does deserve his privacy.

It sounds to me like he has given the password with the express intention of the OP looking at his emails- a good way of showing that you've got nothing to hide.

Have you asked him if he minds you looking at his emails? seems an obvious route to me...
